I consider life a journey and will often refer to the ocean or a river to describe this. Ocean waves may be difficult to navigate or even knocks us down. You may even be on the beach and unwilling to take a chance and enter the water.
Rivers flow like life, but sometimes the current becomes rapid or we encounter stones and mud or twists and turns. Perhaps the river becomes overwhelming or confusing so we get out and sit on the riverbank just to avoid journeying to find out what is around the bend.

What’s the best you? We often don’t know what that looks like until we begin the journey. We just know we are unhappy or anxious or “stuck”. We can work together to see how issues impact your mental health, work, or school life, and relationships. Only you can truly define what the best version of you looks like. About Me:
Reaching out for help is an important step toward making positive change in your life. I believe the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative one where I help you help yourself along the path of change. I have been working in the mental health field since 2003 . I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
My specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, grief, loss, transitions in life and relationship issues. I am trained in EMDR, Gottman Method, mindfulness-based stress reduction, mindfulness interventions, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I strive to help people develop healthy coping tools to manage stressors in life.
